Acceptable Use Policy
Watercooler is intended to bring professionals closer together, by enabling them to share and solve challenges in a safe online environment.
We require all users, anonymous or not, to act in accordance with our Terms of Use and this Acceptable Use Policy, and we reserve the right to remove content we deem incompatible with them.
Engage constructively and professionally with your peers
Professionals come to Watercooler to ask or answer a question, or just to keep up with the news. Regardless of your background and experience, Watercooler is for you, and we all need to help out to create a welcoming, constructive and solution oriented environment.
Keep a professional and polite tone of voice. There is no place here for offensive, abusive or demeaning language, or irrelevant opinions about someone’s person or qualities.
Respect the rights of others
You may not post any content that infringes any intellectual property rights of another party. Writing taken from another source should always be properly attributed and quoted.
Respect and protect the platform
No inappropriate content
You may not post or link to any content that involves discrimination of any kind, hate speech, pornography or sexually explicit or other content that may be perceived as non-professional or offensive.
No illegal, fraudulent and malicious activities
You may not use Watercooler for (or to promote) any illegal or fraudulent activities, or to spread viruses, malware or other malicious programs.
Identify theft and privacy
On Watercooler you may post questions anonymously, but you may not misleadingly appropriate the identity of another person, and you must always respect the privacy of others.
No spam
On Watercooler, we consider spam to include posts and other content whose purpose appears to be to direct traffic to other commercial sites that provide little or no value to Watercooler and it’s users.
Abide by our policies
You must always abide by terms, conditions and policies that DPOrganizer apply for Watercooler, and we may add and change these over time.
