Just curious as to whether anyone has done any benchmarking for DP resources to show how many FTE are dedicated to privacy management vs. size of company (based on turnover, no. of employees, no of outlets/locations and ?? (suggestions welcome)). If not would this be a useful poll to run on here?

I think the DP Index is attempting to do something along these lines, but it is more a sentiment indicator rather than anything else so am not entirely sure how useful it is.
This kind of thing could be done as a piece of panel research, but to make it authoritative would have to decide the criteria for the measurement, i.e. a medical devices company with 3 employees would be required to have a governance structure whereas a digital marketing agency with 300 would not.
It is something worth exploring, but it isn’t something that can be done in a ‘finger in the wind’ kind of way.
