Hello.
Could anybody share an information about:
1. How many CCTV warning signs we have to have in a office with 6 rooms having 1 camera per room?
2. Do we place a sign in front of office entrance door (see 1.) on a wall to be observed before entering or inside the office?
3. How many CCTV warning signs we have to have on premises with 2 cameras in office and 4 cameras outside? This is storage property.
With kind regards,
Alex

I agree with the response from CRodica. It would also be worth considering, picking up on the clarity aspect, of using a sign that has visual elements within it such as the depiction of a CCTV camera, for those persons whose first language may not be English. Hope that helps.

There are no rules on how many signs should be. The requirement is to provide clear notice to people before collecting the data. So it would need to be visible, clear to understand that by entering the specific office/location, the space is monitored. This ideally should be prior to entering, and have some contact information to the DPO or office responsible for data protection matters for any questions.
